Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 2026
Porto MD wants everyone to be able to use our website, the clinic and partner portals, and the pages patients use to book, sign forms, pay and join video visits, including people who use assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We have not yet had the platform independently audited against them, and some pages may fall short while we work toward that goal.
What we do
- Build pages with real headings, labelled form fields and buttons, and text descriptions for meaningful images.
- Make pages usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a link to skip straight to the main content.
- Choose text sizes and colors for readability, including on patient pages and phones.
- Turn down animation for people whose device asks for reduced motion.
Known limits
Some parts of the experience come from other companies, such as the video-visit window and card payment forms. We choose providers that support accessibility, but we do not control every part of their screens.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on Porto MD is hard to use, email support@portomd.com with the page and what happened. We will reply, work on a fix, and help you get the information or finish the task another way in the meantime. Patients can also ask their clinic for help.
