- Yes, from the Practice plan. Telehealth check-in, consent & licensure checks are live: consent, the patient's location and the provider's licensure are checked before every virtual visit. HD video visits are live.
- Does Porto MD bill insurance for dental practices?
- No. Porto MD is cash-pay only. It does not accept, bill or process insurance, commercial or government, and it has no claims, coding or reimbursement features.
- How do dental practices get started on Porto MD?

- Does Porto MD include a tooth chart or imaging software?
- No. Porto MD keeps notes, templates, documents and images on a general clinical record. It is not a dental imaging or odontogram system, and it does not replace one.
- Can hygienists and the front desk have their own access?
- Providers get a schedule and a chart. Front-desk staff get scheduling, check-in and messaging, never charts. Roles and permissions decide who sees what, and an append-only audit trail records every access.
- We have practice-management software already. What changes?
- You keep your current system until you are ready. Documents and results can be attached to a Porto MD chart as files today, and the onboarding checklist walks your team through profile, locations, team, schedule, services, forms and programs. Porto MD does not offer a bulk record migration service, so plan the move with us on the demo.
